Contact Information:

If you do not agree with these Terms or our Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Syntable, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use Syntable on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Description of Service

Syntable is an AI-powered educational and productivity platform that lets users create notes, process inputs such as text, PDFs, audio recordings, prompts, and YouTube video URLs, generate study materials, export documents, and chat with study content.

3. Accounts

You need an account to use most features. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may delete your account from the account settings in the app or web dashboard.

4. Free Plan and Paid Subscriptions

Syntable may offer a free plan and paid monthly and annual subscription plans. Free use may be subject to weekly, feature-based, or other reasonable limits. Syntable Pro removes or increases these limits and unlocks premium features as described in the app, website, or checkout flow.

  • Web purchases: Purchases made on the Syntable website are processed by Paddle. Paddle may act as merchant of record and handle payment processing, taxes, invoices, and billing support for web purchases.
  • iOS purchases: Subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are processed by Apple through Apple's in-app purchase system. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. Restore Purchases is available in the iOS app.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation applies at the end of the current billing period unless the applicable payment provider states otherwise.

  • For web purchases processed by Paddle, refund eligibility is handled according to our web refund policy, Paddle's applicable checkout terms, and applicable consumer protection laws.
  • For purchases made through Apple's App Store, refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.

6. Delivery Policy

Paid features are delivered digitally to your Syntable account after successful payment or entitlement activation. No physical goods are provided.

7. User Content and Acceptable Use

  1. Ownership: You retain all intellectual property rights in notes, PDFs, text, audio recordings, transcripts, prompts, chat messages, and other materials you add to Syntable ("User Content").
  2. License to Syntable: You grant Syntable a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, transmit, and analyze User Content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
  3. Acceptable Use: You agree not to upload or process content that you do not have rights to use, illegal content, abusive or harmful content, content intended to exploit or harm minors, or malicious files or code.

8. Third-Party AI Services

Syntable uses third-party AI providers, including Google Gemini for text-based AI generation, formatting, study tools, AI edits, and chat responses, and OpenAI Whisper for audio transcription. Your inputs may be sent to these providers through their APIs only as needed to provide the features you request.

In the iOS app, Syntable asks for your permission before sending personal data or User Content to third-party AI providers. If you do not give permission, AI-powered creation and chat features will not run.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your use case. You should verify important information and should not treat AI output as professional, legal, medical, financial, academic, or other expert advice.

9. Account Deletion

You can delete your account from account settings in the app or web dashboard. Deleting your account removes your personal account data and User Content from active systems, subject to backups, fraud prevention, billing records, security, and legal obligations. If you have an active Apple subscription, billing may continue until you cancel it through Apple.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Syntable and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of data or corruption of uploaded materials.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Disputes relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Buenos Aires, Argentina, except where applicable consumer laws require otherwise.

12. Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date.
